Job Overview
We are looking for a Cook (m/f/d) as a floating substitute for the food service area focused on daycare catering at the Chemnitz location. The position is available as soon as possible, offered permanently, and can be filled in full-time or part-time with 30 to 40 hours per week.
What You Will Do
- Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and, when needed, an afternoon snack for children.
- Ensure meals are balanced, nutritious, and appropriate for the children’s age group.
- Follow hygiene and quality requirements in line with HACCP standards.
- Plan and coordinate day-to-day kitchen workflows on site.
- Receive deliveries, check goods, and store food properly.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas.
- Record hygiene procedures and temperature checks.
- Coordinate with the educational staff at the facility.
- Work as a substitute cook across different daycare kitchens and, if necessary, in other kitchens within the food and beverage division.
- Cover absences due to vacation or sickness.
- Adapt to regularly changing work locations.
