Role overview
This position supports day-to-day kitchen operations at the physical work location in La Glace, Alberta. The job is fully onsite and cannot be performed remotely. No prior credential is required, and the employer is willing to train the selected candidate.

English is required for this role.
Education and experience
No degree, certificate, or diploma is needed. Previous experience is not required because training will be provided.
Key duties
- Run dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, and cutlery.
- Put cleaned items into the correct storage locations.
- Wash and sanitize dishes and other kitchen items by hand when needed.
- Scrub pots and pans thoroughly.
- Portion food and wrap it appropriately.
- Warm, finish, and assemble basic food items.
- Keep refrigerators and salad bars stocked.
- Use manual tools and powered appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim food ingredients.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including counters, cupboards, storage spaces, appliances, and equipment.
- Manage cleaning supplies safely and store them properly.
- Accept deliveries, unpack items, and place supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Take out kitchen waste and garbage.
- Sharpen kitchen knives.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish kitchen floors.
- Wash, peel, and cut fruits and vegetables.
