Role Overview
Everyday Independence is seeking a Key Worker for its Lake Haven location on the Central Coast. The role can be offered as full-time or part-time, with part-time set at four days per week. This position focuses on delivering early childhood intervention for children aged 0 to 8 with disability and supporting their families to achieve meaningful outcomes.

What the Role Involves
The Key Worker will provide intervention to NDIS participants, specifically children aged 0 to 8, in a variety of settings such as homes, schools, playgrounds, preschool environments, and community spaces. The role requires strong availability for before- and after-school appointments, as these are the most requested times for therapy delivery.
- Deliver therapy and support in everyday environments including homes, schools, playgrounds, and community centres
- Complete initial home appointments with families to understand their child’s needs, goals, and background
- Work alongside educators and other professionals to support motor, communication, and social development
- Coach parents and carers on planning and support options that suit their child’s needs
- Build trusted relationships with participants and their support networks
- Record session notes and process billing through the online participant management system
- Support children with routine-building and participation outside school hours
- Join team meetings, mentoring discussions, and online learning sessions
Qualifications and Background Needed
Applicants must hold a relevant tertiary qualification and the appropriate professional registration or membership for their discipline. Suitable backgrounds include Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Early Childhood Teaching, Special Education, or Social Work.

Availability for before- and after-school appointments is essential.
Bonus Potential
Team members can earn up to $3,000 per year by meeting role expectations and up to $10,000 per year by increasing billable time to support more participants.
