About the Role

Canna Cabana is seeking a dedicated Key Holder for its Grande Prairie, Alberta location. This role is crucial for maintaining store operations and ensuring a positive customer experience. The position involves opening and closing the store, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Opening and closing the retail store securely and efficiently.
  • Supervising daily operations and ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Assisting customers with product selection and providing knowledgeable service.
  • Managing inventory levels, including receiving stock and conducting regular counts.
  • Handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
  • Maintaining store cleanliness and visual merchandising standards.
  • Training and mentoring junior staff members.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements

  • A college, CEGEP, or equivalent diploma from a program of 1-2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years and less than 3 years of relevant retail experience.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, days, and weekends.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations and customer service principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle cash and perform accurate transactions.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight.

Eligibility
