About the Role
Canna Cabana is seeking a dedicated Key Holder for its Grande Prairie, Alberta location. This role is crucial for maintaining store operations and ensuring a positive customer experience. The position involves opening and closing the store, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Opening and closing the retail store securely and efficiently.
- Supervising daily operations and ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Assisting customers with product selection and providing knowledgeable service.
- Managing inventory levels, including receiving stock and conducting regular counts.
- Handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
- Maintaining store cleanliness and visual merchandising standards.
- Training and mentoring junior staff members.
- Addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Requirements
- A college, CEGEP, or equivalent diploma from a program of 1-2 years, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 2 years and less than 3 years of relevant retail experience.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, days, and weekends.
- Strong understanding of retail operations and customer service principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle cash and perform accurate transactions.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight.
