Role overview
A prominent organization in the travel and tourism sector is seeking a seasoned Key Accounts Manager to oversee important corporate partnerships, deepen client loyalty over the long term, and uncover ways to improve retention and grow revenue.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and nurture trusted relationships with major corporate customers.
- Create strategies aimed at retaining accounts and expanding business from existing clients.
- Handle client onboarding and keep track of account performance and overall health.
- Lead periodic strategic reviews with clients to assess progress and future needs.
- Make sure committed service standards are delivered and address any escalated concerns.
- Spot opportunities to increase sales and broaden account value.
- Work closely with sales and operations teams to provide a smooth client journey.
- Negotiate commercial terms and manage enterprise-level client agreements.
- Track account results and compile business performance reports.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in account management, customer success, or corporate sales.
- Hands-on exposure to airlines, online travel agencies, travel agencies, or the tourism industry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large corporate accounts and negotiate contracts.
- Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation capabilities.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and experience handling multiple stakeholders.
- A proactive, commercially focused, and target-driven approach.
