Role Overview
The Key Account Manager will work with partnered bank branches to support insurance sales and relationship management. The role involves branch visits, coordination with branch managers and internal teams, driving customer conversations, and helping mapped branches meet their insurance business goals.
What You Will Do
You will be responsible for ensuring branch-level business targets are achieved across key performance measures such as new business, renewals, STP, digitisation, and product mix. The role requires regular engagement with bank branch teams and customers to explain products, support sales closures, and strengthen the Tata AIA brand presence.
You will also handle documentation support, follow-ups for medicals and pending paperwork, promote local contests and engagement initiatives, and maintain a close working relationship with branch managers to review business progress and encourage productivity. In addition, you will coordinate between the internal team and the channel partner to ensure smooth execution and quick responses to partner needs.
Another part of the role is enabling branches to adopt new processes and technology, supporting their insurance targets through product updates, training, and sales information, and ensuring customer service areas such as grievance handling, claim settlement, and renewals are managed effectively.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have a graduation degree and 1 to 3 years of experience in insurance or financial services. Experience working with public sector bank partners will be an added advantage. Strong product understanding, comfort with MS Office, and the ability to communicate clearly and build relationships are important for success in this role.
