Role overview
Lupin is hiring a Key Account Manager in Hyderabad, Telangana, India for a full-time, on-site role. The position is focused on driving sales performance, building stakeholder relationships, and coordinating field execution across the assigned territory.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver monthly and annual targets for both product-level and value-based sales, covering primary as well as secondary sales in the assigned region.
- Build and nurture productive relationships with important stakeholders such as doctors, retailers, and stockists through customer engagement activities aligned with business strategy.
- Review team and area performance on a regular basis and take corrective action where needed.
- Create and execute action plans that support ongoing performance improvement.
- Spot capability gaps in the team and arrange suitable coaching and development support.
- Make sure the team follows company credit norms within the operating area.
- Track receivables closely and control overdue amounts to reduce financial exposure.
- Ensure Medical Executives and Medical Trainees are hired and inducted on time as per company guidelines so that business continuity is maintained.
- Supervise the day-to-day field activity of Medical Executives and Medical Trainees, including prompt submission of daily reports.
- Support implementation of company plans by directing and assisting team members in the field.
- Share market insights on industry movements, competitor actions, and promotional efforts to help guide decisions.
- Address team issues quickly and effectively.
- Escalate unresolved matters to line management and head office whenever required to avoid delays.
Experience required
The role calls for 8 to 10 years of overall experience, including at least 2 years working as a First Line Manager.
