About the role
Metric Bio is working with a highly specialized pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) that supports biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies with advanced formulation development, oral solid dosage development, and manufacturing services. The organization is looking for a Key Account Director to lead strategic expansion across accounts ranging from smaller biotech firms to mid-sized and large pharmaceutical companies.
What you will do
- Create and implement account strategies aimed at increasing revenue across a portfolio of pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
- Grow relationships inside current small, mid-sized, and large pharmaceutical accounts to uncover new development and manufacturing opportunities.
- Support commercial growth for formulation development, oral solid dosage programs, and drug product manufacturing offerings.
- Develop trusted partnerships with stakeholders in research and development, procurement, and technical operations.
- Serve as the main commercial point of contact between clients and internal teams including technical experts, project management, and leadership.
- Spot and close new opportunities within existing accounts to strengthen long-term client partnerships.
What the employer is looking for
