It is a strong fit for a junior to mid-level professional with roughly 1 to 3 years of experience who enjoys hands-on testing, teamwork, and building a long-term career in engineering.
Native Arabic fluency is required, along with solid English communication skills. The compensation offered is 10,000 to 12,000 AED per month, plus benefits.
What you will do
- Plan, draft, and run test plans, test cases, procedures, and testing schedules across several projects.
- Carry out manual testing for applications, systems, and integrated solutions.
- Perform regression, functional, integration, and ad hoc testing based on project needs and software updates.
- Review test outcomes and spot defects, inconsistencies, and performance-related problems.
- Log, monitor, and drive defects and incidents to resolution using QA tracking tools.
- Make sure requirements are fully validated through suitable test coverage and scenario design.
- Help prepare and review project documentation such as configuration records, test evidence, and user documentation.
- Work alongside developers, technical leads, and project teams to support dependable software delivery.
- Take part in Agile testing processes and release activities.
- Support UAT and client-side validation at customer locations when needed.
- Follow established QA practices for submissions, reporting, documentation, and defect handling.
- Assist with automation and performance testing when relevant, using tools such as Selenium or JMeter.
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in Arabic and English.
- Contribute to both new implementations and ongoing maintenance or change-request work across public sector projects.
What we are looking for
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
- About 2 to 3 years of experience in QA engineering or software testing.
- Working knowledge of SDLC and STLC concepts.
- Hands-on use of QA and test management platforms such as JIRA and XRAY.
- Practical manual testing experience in enterprise or large-scale environments.
- Exposure to performance and load testing.
- Automation testing exposure with Selenium or JMeter is helpful, though not required.
- Experience in Agile teams and delivery cycles.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Comfort in a fast-moving, delivery-oriented technical setting.
- A positive mindset, eagerness to learn, and strong collaboration skills.
- Understanding of client-facing work and stakeholder communication.
- Previous testing experience with biometric devices, eGates, or public security systems is a plus.
