Role Overview
The Junior Quality Assistant will support quality control activities across incoming and in-process materials. The role involves checking parts against engineering drawings, using precision measuring tools, tracking quality records, and helping ensure compliance with customer and process standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine supplier-supplied and in-process materials to confirm they meet required quality standards.
- Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T details accurately during inspection work.
- Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions and specifications.
- Prepare and update quality documentation and reports.
- Check plating and heat-treatment outputs for conformity.
- Identify quality concerns and support timely issue resolution.
- Help maintain compliance with customer-specific quality expectations.
- Use MS Office tools for reporting, tracking, and coordination tasks.
