Job description

About the Role

NineTwoThree AI Studio is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support the delivery of AI-driven web and mobile products for well-known brands and high-growth startups. This is a fully remote position within a global team that values speed, structure, and high-quality execution.

The company is a remote-first product design, engineering, and marketing studio founded in 2012 and headquartered in Boston. The team works on challenging, impactful products across areas such as sports, health, logistics, and nuclear. Work connected to gambling, adult entertainment, or crypto is not a fit for this business.

The environment is built around strong processes, clear leadership, and fast-moving collaboration. The team has grown steadily by 20% annually over the last five years, and the company emphasizes career development, internal growth, and referrals earned through client satisfaction.

What You Will Do

  • Help put together project plans covering scope, goals, deliverables, schedules, and required resources.
  • Keep project boards organized and up to date so progress stays visible.
  • Monitor timelines and task completion, and flag risks or delays when needed.
  • Maintain project records such as meeting summaries, status updates, and schedules.
  • Take part in daily stand-ups to stay aligned with the team and surface blockers.
  • Work with senior teammates to balance scope, timeline, and quality decisions.
  • Check product or system features before release to make sure acceptance standards are met.
  • Act as a bridge between the development team and the Product Manager or Senior Project Manager.
  • Keep stakeholders informed about progress, scope adjustments, and possible delays.
  • Collaborate with senior PMs and developers to estimate effort and resource needs.
  • Support the Senior Project Manager in day-to-day coordination.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience managing software development projects.
  • Working knowledge of web application development.
  • English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or above.
  • Understanding of Agile practices, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Theoretical familiarity with user stories and user flow creation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Completion of IT project management courses.
  • Interest in learning how applications are built in depth.
  • Solid foundational knowledge of project management principles.
  • Energetic, self-driven personality.
  • Well organized, responsible, and detail-oriented.
  • Team-oriented mindset with clear goal focus.
  • Ability and willingness to learn quickly.

Benefits

  • 20 days of paid annual leave each year during the first 3 years, increasing to 25 days in later years.
  • Paid sick leave, 10 national holidays, and 2 company days off.
  • Well-being budget.
  • Maternity and paternity leave.
  • Accounting support.
  • Reimbursement for professional development courses and certifications, up to 100% with manager approval.
  • Equipment provided based on business needs.
  • A positive engineering culture with a close-knit, good-humored team.

Hiring Process

The selection process is designed to be efficient and straightforward: an HR interview, a discussion with the Head of PM, an optional short live test challenge, a conversation with the CTO and COO, and then an offer if there is a fit.

Leave it if you'd like a reply — we won't use it for anything else.
