Role overview
The Junior Motion Graphics Designer will contribute to localisation and reversioning projects for international delivery. The position combines existing motion design skills with guidance and training from the experienced graphics team, with a strong focus on producing work that matches the brief and collaborating effectively with the wider team.
Key duties
- Create professional-quality 2D and 3D motion design assets.
- Develop TV cutdowns, social content, and promotional videos.
- Meet deadlines consistently and manage assigned work efficiently.
- Help organise and plan work allocation and scheduling when needed.
- Work with colleagues to develop creative ideas for a broad range of promotional materials.
- Adapt quickly to new instructions and apply learning to future tasks.
- Stay organised and steady under pressure when deadlines are tight.
- Build supportive, productive working relationships across the team.
- Step in proactively to help the team during busy periods.
- Solve problems independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Take ownership of personal learning by exploring new workflows and production processes.
Working pattern
This is a permanent role based on a daytime schedule from 9:30am to 6:00pm.
Requirements
The ideal candidate profile is built to support career growth and expectation setting.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in After Effects, including scaling, anchor points, rotation, transparency, masking, effects, and presets.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Media Encoder.
- Good understanding of rotoscoping and camera motion tracking.
- Experience using plugins such as Red Giant, Video Copilot, and Boris FX tools including Sapphire and Continuum.
- Ability to match graphics to audio timing effectively.
- Experience creating 3D typography using Cinema 4D or After Effects plugins such as 3D Element.
- Interest in producing social media spots.
