Role Overview
We are looking for an early-career data analyst who is careful, curious, and comfortable working with structured data. In this role, you will help gather, clean, review, and interpret information so the business can make better decisions. This position is suited to someone who wants practical exposure to analytics and business intelligence in a full-time setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather data from different sources, then clean, check, and organize it for analysis.
- Examine datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and useful insights.
- Build and update dashboards, reports, and visual summaries.
- Prepare recurring reports as well as one-off requests for managers and stakeholders.
- Help define KPIs and other performance measures.
- Run data quality reviews and investigate inconsistencies or errors.
- Support teams with recommendations based on data findings.
- Record data workflows, methods, and analysis outcomes.
- Work closely with teams across Operations, Sales, Marketing, and IT.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
- 0–2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or a similar function.
- Strong ability to analyze problems and work through them logically.
- High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Clear written and spoken communication skills.
Technical Skills
- SQL, including joins, aggregations, subqueries, and window functions.
- Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and Power Query.
- Data cleansing and validation techniques.
- Data visualization and dashboard creation.
- Power BI or Tableau knowledge.
- Python skills with Pandas and NumPy.
- Basic statistics and data interpretation.
- Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
Preferred Knowledge
- Understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing.
- Familiarity with business intelligence platforms.
- Exposure to report automation practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an added advantage.
