Job description
Role Overview
As a Junior Buyer at Wilhelm Hoyer B.V. & Co. KG, you will help shape purchasing activities in the mineral oil sector. The position gives you the chance to take on varied tasks, improve internal processes, and support the buying team in moving procurement forward at the company’s headquarters in Visselhövede.
What You Will Do
- Act as a contact point for suppliers and assist the purchasing team with order processing.
- Monitor market developments and exchange trends in the raw materials and energy environment.
- Support the enhancement of procurement processes and contract-related work.
- Serve as an operational interface between suppliers, logistics, and sales.
- Prepare and evaluate reports and statistics on pricing and quantities.

Your Profile
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship with additional professional qualification, or you hold a degree in business administration.
- Initial experience in purchasing is helpful, but not required.
- You enjoy working with numbers, analyses, and structured tasks.
- You bring strong teamwork and communication skills.
- You are confident using MS Office and ideally already have some exposure to ERP systems.
- You work independently, take initiative, and handle responsibility proactively.
Additional Information
The role is based full-time at the company headquarters in Visselhövede and is offered as a permanent position starting as soon as possible.
