Role Overview

The Junior Business Development Manager will join the Commercial team and report to the Head of Sales. The position focuses on helping expand distribution of Nuvei’s products across a wide mix of industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Find and research prospective clients in targeted markets through self-generated lead sourcing.
  • Reach out to potential customers through cold calling, email outreach, and in-person visits.
  • Create and grow new sales partnership opportunities with merchants.
  • Set up new accounts in the company CRM and coordinate with internal teams until the accounts are active and processing.
  • Maintain an organized sales pipeline in Dynamics CRM to support accurate forecasting.
  • Track industry developments and make sure customer needs stay aligned with market demand.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing colleagues to support broader commercial goals.

Preferred Profile

Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in a sales position; prior payments experience is not required. The role suits someone who is comfortable with hands-on operational work, prospecting by phone and in person, and building relationships internally and externally. The ideal applicant is a creative problem-solver, able to stay effective under pressure while managing several priorities. Strong organization, willingness to travel, clear communication skills, solid computer literacy in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and a highly motivated team-oriented mindset are also important.
