About The Job

Vertis is seeking an enthusiastic and meticulous Junior Business Analyst to join our vibrant team. This position involves assisting in the collection and analysis of business requirements, supporting documentation processes, and bridging communication between business stakeholders and technical teams. It presents an excellent opportunity for individuals keen on developing expertise in business analysis, digital transformation, and agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Aid in gathering, documenting, and analyzing business and system requirements.
• Provide support for requirements discussions and workshops involving clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and project managers to ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives.
• Assist in translating business needs into clear, detailed functional specifications and user stories.
• Participate in system testing, including the creation of test cases and execution of tests.
• Help prepare user manuals, training materials, and process documentation.
• Contribute to post-implementation reviews and gather user feedback.
• Support project teams in the adoption and execution of Agile or SDLC processes.
• Manage and update documentation using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Engage in research, analysis, and proposal development for business solutions.

Requirements And Qualifications

• Recent graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
• Individuals looking to pivot into a Business Analyst career are welcome.
• Up to 2 years of experience in relevant fields is considered an advantage.
• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
• A foundational understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• A keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude towards learning.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Prior exposure to JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms is beneficial.

Eligibility Requirement

This is an on-site position located in Singapore and is part of the IMDA Company-Led Training (CLT) Programme. Eligibility is restricted to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents. Candidates requiring work pass sponsorship will not be considered.
