Role Overview

The Junior Art Director will help create polished digital advertising and content from concept through delivery. Working alongside a copywriter and reporting to the Senior Art Director, this person will support the broader design team in producing strong marketing campaigns and initiatives for a wide range of clients.

What You Will Do

  • Develop visual ideas, layouts, and graphics for print, digital, motion, social, and web projects.
  • Partner with colleagues across the organization to deliver marketing campaigns, content, and creative initiatives.
  • Contribute ideas, present concepts, execute design work, and refine creative based on feedback.
  • Support the design team in delivering high-quality work from initial concept to final output.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in digital design.
  • Strong working knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Jitter, and related tools.
  • Well-developed visual judgment, especially in composition, color, and typography.
  • Comfort working in a highly collaborative, fast-moving environment.
  • Awareness of digital trends and a practical understanding of what performs well online.
  • Familiarity with emerging AI tools used in creative work.
  • A portfolio is mandatory for consideration.

Work Location

This is an office-based role with an expectation to work from the DC, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, or Los Angeles office at least three days per week.

Compensation

The starting salary range is $50,000 to $55,000.
