Job description
Role Overview
The factory manager will oversee joinery production operations in Abu Dhabi, making sure work is planned efficiently, quality expectations are met, and delivery targets stay on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate production activities to keep manufacturing running smoothly and efficiently.
- Supervise workforce allocation, day-to-day output, and factory-level productivity.
- Maintain strong quality control practices and drive ongoing process improvements.
- Track and enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance across the facility.
- Manage production expenses, raw material consumption, and stock levels carefully.
- Liaise with project managers, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to support project execution.
- Ensure factory operations contribute to timely, cost-effective project completion.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
- More than 10 years of relevant experience in joinery or fit-out industries is necessary.
- Demonstrated background in running a joinery factory or similar production facility.
- Strong capability in production planning and factory organization.
- Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to manage quality standards, materials, inventory, and operating costs.
- Good coordination and communication skills for handling multiple stakeholders.
Compensation
The role offers a salary of AED 20,000.
