Janitor

About the Role

Lineage is seeking a dedicated Janitor to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of our facility in Vaughan, Ontario. This role is crucial for ensuring a safe and sanitary working environment across warehouse areas, docks, restrooms, and break rooms. The Janitor will operate under the guidance of shift supervisors and must adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies. Key Responsibilities

• Uphold the company's Code of Business Conduct, policies, and relevant legislation.
• Execute the Master Cleaning Schedule to ensure all assigned areas meet cleanliness standards.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Manage the removal of trash and garbage to designated disposal areas.
• Prepare spaces for the following day by disposing of trash, recycling, and used rags.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and work in a safe manner.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and consistently without direct supervision.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.

Key Requirements

• Possess at least one year of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment, ranging from ambient temperatures down to -30 degrees Celsius.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members at all levels.

Work Schedule

The Janitor will work a schedule from Sunday to Thursday, between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Flexibility to work any shifts, including weekends and overtime, is required.
