Job description
About the Role
This position involves leading the strategic and operational execution of the Trust’s Endoscopy JAG accreditation program. The goal is to ensure the service consistently adheres to national standards for quality, safety, efficiency, and patient experience. As the Trust's expert for JAG Global Rating Scale (GRS) compliance, you will offer specialized guidance, supervision, and assurance to clinical and operational teams. This support will help the Endoscopy Unit maintain continuous accreditation and foster a culture of high performance.
You will collaborate closely with endoscopy leadership, governance teams, and other divisional colleagues. Your responsibilities will include coordinating all facets of the accreditation cycle, such as gathering evidence, conducting service audits, measuring patient experiences, developing the workforce, and optimizing patient pathways. You will spearhead the creation and implementation of improvement plans to ensure the service aligns with national best practices, regulatory mandates, and Trust objectives.
The role demands strong analytical, organizational, and communication capabilities, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive lasting service enhancements. You will serve as a crucial point of contact with JAG, external evaluators, and internal stakeholders, ensuring the Trust's endoscopy services remain safe, effective, and responsive to patient needs.
