Role Overview

In this position, you will play an important role in supporting daily operations across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, categorize, and process support requests at first level.
- Assist employees directly with hardware and software issues.
- Analyze faults and resolve basic to moderately complex IT incidents.
- Record disruptions, fixes, and process steps in a clear and structured way.
- Support Windows clients and Windows servers.
- Set up, configure, and maintain workstations, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Manage objects and group policies in Active Directory.
- Provide support for Microsoft Office 365 / Microsoft 365 applications.
- Carry out updates and software deployments on client devices and servers.
- Use SQL knowledge and basic scripting skills where helpful.
- Work closely with external service providers.
- Configure and support handheld scanners, label printers, and mobile workstations.
- Assist with IT-related processes used in shipping and logistics operations.
Profile and Requirements
- Completed vocational training in IT, such as IT specialist for system integration, or equivalent practical experience.
- Solid experience with the Microsoft ecosystem, including Windows clients and servers, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts such as routers, switches, TCP/IP, VPN, LAN, WLAN, and VLAN.
- Prior experience in IT support or helpdesk work, including ticketing systems, is an advantage.
- A service-focused, solution-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.
- Good German skills and basic English skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
- Valid driving licence class B.
