Role Overview

This position supports end users and keeps the desktop and workplace IT environment running smoothly. The role combines hands-on technical support, Microsoft 365 administration, collaboration platform management, network oversight, vendor coordination, and participation in infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver first- and second-line support for employees, resolving issues related to hardware, software, networking, email, and other system problems.
  • Set up, test, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, telephones, printers, projectors, access control devices, and other IT peripherals.
  • Track IT assets and software licenses, maintain standard desktop images, and carry out periodic inventory checks.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, including configuration, setup, ongoing support, and maintenance.
  • Support employee joining and exit processes by coordinating with HR for access creation, equipment readiness, email setup, and deactivation of accounts.
  • Manage collaboration tools such as email, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, intranet pages, shared folders, and departmental sites.
  • Assist business teams with document control, permissions, workflow setup, and improvements to collaboration platforms.
  • Monitor office network equipment and infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, VPNs, and server room equipment.
  • Run routine network checks, spot performance issues, and help maintain stable, secure, and available connectivity.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, telecom providers, and service partners for connectivity, support services, infrastructure maintenance, and project delivery.
  • Support the buying, rollout, and lifecycle management of laptops, hardware, and software licenses.
  • Take part in infrastructure upgrades, office expansion work, and relocation activities, including moving IT equipment, network gear, server room resources, internet services, and end-user devices.
  • Maintain day-to-day operation of core business systems such as email, file sharing, collaboration tools, and authentication platforms.
  • Prepare and update operating procedures, technical documentation, user manuals, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Act as administrator for WeCom and other corporate communication platforms.
  • Work with HR, Finance, Operations, and other teams to understand needs and provide appropriate IT solutions.
  • Handle additional tasks as assigned by the manager.

Work Arrangement and Benefits

  • Five working days per week.
  • Current office location is near Kaki Bukit MRT.
  • The office will move to the Tai Seng MRT area in August 2026.
  • Medical coverage is provided.
