Job description
Job Purpose
This entry-level position is designed to help UAE Nationals gain practical exposure to day-to-day IT support and technical operations. The role contributes to the smooth running of technology across the organization by resolving issues promptly, assisting users reliably, and building the technical foundation needed for future growth within the IT function.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for end users needing help with hardware, software, and basic network issues.
- Support the setup, configuration, and upkeep of desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT devices.
- Record support cases in the helpdesk platform and follow them through to closure or escalation as needed.
- Help create user accounts, reset passwords, and manage system access under supervision.
- Assist with regular system health checks, software updates, backups, and basic cybersecurity controls.
- Keep accurate logs of IT assets, software licenses, and equipment inventory.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers when technical assistance or equipment servicing is required.
- Support employee joining and exit activities, including device preparation and access provisioning/removal.
- Follow company IT policies, operational procedures, and information security standards.
- Provide additional administrative and operational assistance to the IT team as assigned by the direct manager.
Qualifications & Experience
The role is intended for UAE Nationals only. A high school diploma is required, while a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related subject is preferred. Candidates should have 0–2 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical administration; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
