Role overview

We are seeking a proactive and service-oriented IT Support Officer at entry/junior level to help keep technology running smoothly across the workplace. This full-time on-site role is suited to someone who enjoys solving technical problems, supporting users, and building a career in information technology.

What you will do

  • Serve as the first point of contact for hardware, software, and network support issues.
  • Set up, install, and keep computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals working properly.
  • Diagnose technical faults and resolve them promptly and professionally.
  • Help users with account creation, password resets, and access-related requests.
  • Provide support for Microsoft 365, email platforms, and everyday productivity tools.
  • Keep clear and accurate logs of support tickets, fixes, and IT equipment records.
  • Refer more complex issues to senior IT staff or external service providers when needed.
  • Assist with updates, routine maintenance, backup activities, and broader IT improvement work.

Skills and background

  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
  • Working knowledge of Windows environments and Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability and a practical approach to solving problems.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
  • Ability to organize priorities and manage several support requests at once.
  • Careful attention to detail and a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • IT study, certification, or technical training would be helpful.
  • Previous help desk or IT support experience is a plus, though not mandatory.
