IT Production Manager

About the Role

The IT Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing and supporting existing applications and infrastructure to minimize business disruptions caused by system failures. This role involves planning and executing a wide range of system installations, configurations, and upgrades to enhance business productivity. Key areas of focus include Database Management, IT Operations (Network), and IT Operations (Datacenters).

Job Responsibilities

• Lead projects involving new technologies for system infrastructure, applications, and databases to ensure timely and seamless implementation.
• Oversee the administration of systems, including infrastructure, applications, and databases, to guarantee service availability for business owners and customers.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures for installed systems and services, ensuring critical systems and data are backed up.
• Manage the team in troubleshooting and recovering transactions and services during incidents.
• Oversee all projects and initiatives, such as new implementations, redesigns, or upgrades, to improve the scalability and stability of the network infrastructure (voice, digital, and security), ensuring on-time project delivery.
• Supervise the installation, maintenance, and optimization of network infrastructure (hardware, software, communication links) to support business operations and customer needs.
• Oversee the configuration and setup of security infrastructure (appliances and software) to ensure secure access to critical business applications and information.
• Conduct regular security reviews of all system and application access.
• Plan, design, and implement service and infrastructure monitoring and automation for proactive incident resolution and productivity enhancement.
• Manage the implementation of system performance and capacity management monitoring to ensure system and service stability.
• Provide regular system status reports to senior management, detailing system service availability.
• Manage the execution of production tasks, such as batch processing and operational jobs, to ensure timely posting of transactions and availability of reports as required by the business and customers.
• Ensure prompt response to all alerts, resolving or escalating issues as necessary, and collaborate with business stakeholders to maintain service quality.
• Adhere to the Bank’s AML/CTF policy, guidelines, and all SAMA regulations concerning account opening, KYC, and Customer Due Diligence.

Job Requirements

• Must be Saudi national.
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or an equivalent educational level with substantial banking experience.
• Accumulate 5-8 years of relevant experience in IT Systems or related IT functions, with a minimum of 3 years in progressively responsible managerial roles within a financial institution.
• Demonstrate knowledge of banking IT production environments.
• Exhibit understanding of banking operations and their requirements.
• Possess experience in translating business needs into effective IT systems and operations.
