Job description

Role overview

Alphaeus Pte Ltd is looking for an entry-level Helpdesk / Service Desk Engineer to deliver prompt, professional IT support and help resolve user issues efficiently.

What you will handle

  • Provide courteous, timely, and effective support with the aim of resolving issues quickly and creating a positive user experience.
  • Answer incoming calls and stay available to support users.
  • Respond to questions and service requests received through voicemail, email, and fax in a timely manner.
  • Assess problems accurately and work toward the right resolution.
  • Offer first-line troubleshooting for technical issues.
  • Track incidents and manage first- and second-level resolution for trouble calls, including desktop, LAN, central infrastructure, WAN, and voice-related service requests.
  • Coordinate employee account administration tasks such as account setup, activation, updates, and terminations.
  • Handle and respond to all IT service request calls from users.

Requirements

  • Minimum qualification: Nitec in any discipline.
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory account administration, Microsoft Outlook, and mobile device support.
  • On-the-job training will be provided.
