About The Ned Doha
The Ned Doha is located in Doha inside the landmark former Ministry of Interior building. It combines historic architecture with refined luxury, modern elegance, and a premium guest experience.
The property features seven distinct dining venues, 90 thoughtfully designed rooms, sophisticated event spaces, and Ned’s Club — a private members’ club that includes a rooftop terrace, spa, gym, and a 30-metre outdoor pool.
Role Overview
The hotel is seeking a motivated and guest-focused IRD Supervisor to join the Food & Beverage team. This position is responsible for overseeing In-Room Dining operations and ensuring delivery of polished, efficient, and personalized service.
This opportunity is well suited to someone who enjoys luxury hospitality, leads by example, and performs well in a busy service environment.
Key Duties
- Oversee day-to-day In-Room Dining activity and ensure the service runs smoothly.
- Guide and assist the team in delivering tailored, high-quality guest service.
- Make sure orders are processed correctly, handled efficiently, and delivered within set service timelines.
- Work closely with the kitchen and other departments to keep operations coordinated.
- Respond to guest requests, comments, and concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
- Contribute to staff training, rota planning, and day-to-day operational coordination.
- Track service quality, presentation, and overall attention to detail.
- Provide active support during high-volume periods while upholding luxury service standards.
- Maintain compliance with hygiene, safety, and company procedures.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in an IRD Supervisor role or a similar position in luxury hospitality is required.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities are essential.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced setting while preserving excellent service standards.
- A genuine commitment to guest satisfaction and individualized service.
- Well-developed organization and multitasking skills.
- A positive, practical, and team-oriented approach.
- Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays, is necessary.
