About the Company
This opportunity is with an international investment banking firm that concentrates on technology-focused mergers and acquisitions. The bank advises founders, corporates, and private equity investors on both sell-side and buy-side deals across Europe and worldwide.
About the Role
The team is seeking an Associate with around 1 to 2 years of experience to help deliver work across several live mandates in software, digital infrastructure, and tech-enabled services.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the full lifecycle of M&A deals, with a primary focus on sell-side mandates.
- Develop, maintain, and take ownership of financial models such as DCF, LBO, and comparable company analyses.
- Draft investment memoranda, teasers, and other materials used in client and investor outreach.
- Manage and coordinate due diligence activities with both internal teams and external counterparties.
- Communicate with prospective buyers, investors, and senior stakeholders on client teams.
Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of experience in investment banking, specifically M&A.
- Solid hands-on involvement in transaction execution, ideally with sell-side exposure.
- Strong capability in financial modelling and valuation work.
- Experience working on transactions in the €50 million to €500 million+ range.
- Prior exposure to technology, software, digital infrastructure, or tech-enabled businesses is advantageous.
- Fluency in English is required; additional European languages would be beneficial.
