Openings and Coverage Areas
There are multiple Associate-level opportunities available within Investment Banking coverage. Current areas include Industrials in New York City, Financial Sponsors in Los Angeles and New York City, Energy in Houston, LatAm Energy in New York City, Technology in New York City and San Francisco, and TMT in New York City.
Role Summary
As an Investment Banking Associate, you will build on Analyst-level experience and take on broader ownership of project coordination, client engagement, and deal execution. The role includes continued formal training, greater responsibility for managing deliverables, and support in guiding junior team members.
Key Work
- Join advanced training programs to deepen technical and leadership capabilities.
- Lead the creation of client materials such as presentations, pitch books, and analytical support.
- Review and manage financial models, valuation work, and transaction-related documents.
- Check Analysts’ output and help ensure accuracy and consistency in deliverables.
- Take part in client discussions and meetings related to live deals.
- Assist with deal structuring and negotiation activities.
- Support senior bankers in identifying, developing, and advancing new business opportunities.
Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent background gained through work experience, training, military service, or education.
- Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in finance, business, or a related sector.
- Solid understanding of corporate finance and investment banking products; sector experience is preferred.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency, along with strong financial modeling ability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Comfort working collaboratively while also taking initiative independently.
- Strong technical capability in valuation and financial modeling.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base pay range for this role is USD 175,000 to USD 225,000. Final compensation may depend on skills, experience, training, licenses, certifications, and location.
