Job description

Role overview

This is a contract-based remote finance role focused on delivering expert-level input on content and outputs related to Private Equity and Investment Banking. The position is designed for a specialist who can review, refine, and improve technical finance material while maintaining accuracy, clarity, and industry alignment.

The assignment offers compensation of $30 to $65 per hour and expects a weekly commitment of 10 to 40 hours. The work is fully remote and based in Canada.

Key responsibilities

  • Offer senior-level guidance and feedback on finance-focused material, with a strong emphasis on Private Equity and Investment Banking topics.
  • Check financial models, reports, and documentation for correctness, consistency, and practical relevance.
  • Assess AI-produced responses for factual accuracy, readability, and alignment with accepted finance standards.
  • Work with technical collaborators to translate complex financial ideas into clear written and spoken communication.
  • Keep pace with current developments, market practices, and trends in finance, especially across Private Equity and Investment Banking.
  • Provide actionable suggestions that strengthen AI training quality and output reliability while protecting data integrity.

Requirements

  • Extensive finance expertise, backed by real experience in Private Equity and/or Investment Banking.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify advanced concepts for different audiences.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and careful attention to detail.
  • Background in reviewing, editing, or producing sophisticated financial content or documents.
  • Ability to operate independently in a remote setting while handling priorities and deadlines effectively.
