Role overview
Our client is a highly regarded, well-funded private equity investor focused on SME and mid-market businesses. Because the firm is expanding, it is looking to add an Investment Associate to the team in Dublin.
What you'll be doing
- Source, review, and summarize possible investment opportunities across the Irish market.
- Build a practical understanding of the preferred target company profile and help create momentum with business owners.
- Coordinate transactions with internal colleagues, external advisers, and other stakeholders so that each stage runs accurately, on schedule, and with impact from initial review through investment committee approval and post-investment monitoring.
What the role calls for
- Qualified Accountant or CFA with 0 to 2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong academic performance, including at least a high 2.1 and first-time passes.
- Genuine interest in SME businesses and the broader Irish economy.
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills for both internal coordination and external networking, including attending events where appropriate.
- Solid technical ability in modelling, financial analysis, and commercial thinking.
