About the role

Headquartered in London, Flashpoint also operates from New York, Tel Aviv, Budapest, Warsaw, Riga, and Nicosia.
The team is looking for an experienced, motivated Analyst to join the Flashpoint Secondary Fund (FSF), which focuses on direct secondaries. FSF invests in late-growth technology companies at Series B and beyond by purchasing shares from existing holders such as founders, former employees, and early investors.

- Identify, assess, and source investment opportunities across multiple sectors.
- Conduct research on technology companies in the later stages of growth.
- Prepare materials used in internal investment review processes and for the investment committee.
- Support commercial, financial, and legal due diligence, along with business plan and contract preparation.
- Track portfolio company performance against budget and operating plans.
- Join management discussions and board meetings on a periodic basis.
- Evaluate possible strategic or financial exit routes and assess the future outlook of the industries in which the portfolio is invested.
- Maintain close oversight of portfolio companies, organize information received from them, and help manage ongoing relationships.
- Prepare investor updates and portfolio reporting.
- Assist with fundraising activities.
Requirements
- Strong written and spoken English skills.
- A university degree from a top-tier institution.
- CFA qualification, or an equivalent credential, is considered a strong advantage.
- International exposure is beneficial; the candidate must also fit well into a high-caliber financial environment.
- 3 to 5 years of prior experience in investment banking, consulting, venture capital, or a startup environment.
- Excellent analytical ability.
- A background in technology is a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Must be a team player who is open, communicative, self-motivated, energetic, and driven by results.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving and dynamic setting.
- Genuinely interested in technology investing, with a solid grasp of the market, trends, and key participants.
- Able to deliver within set timelines.
- Capable of interacting directly with senior leaders from portfolio companies and prospective investments.
- Self-starter with a commercial mindset and a strong work ethic.
