Role summary

ZwitterCo is looking for an experienced, hands-on Inventory / Supply Chain Analyst to support accurate information tracking for the finance and supply chain teams. This role is suited to someone with a technical, analytical, or logistics background and prior ERP exposure, ideally NetSuite. A major part of the job is keeping inventory movements accurate across work orders, inventory transfers, and purchase order receipts.

About the company

ZwitterCo has created a new class of zwitterionic membranes designed to resist fouling at a level beyond conventional filtration materials. Its technology is used to handle complex wastewater, enable water reuse, and improve efficiency in food processing. The company works with customers in more than 20 countries across food and beverage, agricultural, and industrial markets, and continues to invest heavily in its technology, equipment, and global services capabilities. It has been recognized as one of Fast Company’s Top Innovators of 2024 and included in the 2025 and 2026 Global Cleantech 100.

Key responsibilities

The analyst will oversee day-to-day supply chain activity from raw materials through finished goods, coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather data, and help maintain clean ERP records. The role also involves validating manufacturing execution, monitoring stock levels, supporting purchasing and logistics documentation, and highlighting any inventory or procurement issues for internal teams.

Schedule, location, and travel

The position is based in Woburn, MA, with remote flexibility available for the right candidate. The role reports to the Finance organization. No meaningful travel is expected.

Compensation and benefits

Salary is budgeted at $70,000 to $90,000 per year, with additional equity and benefits offered based on location and experience.

Application notes

The posting includes options to submit an application using an existing resume or through a professional networking profile.

Additional notes

This is a full-time position with no internship duration or start-date details provided in the source.

Required qualifications

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, though comparable experience may be accepted in place of formal education. At least 3 years of experience working with ERP systems is needed, with NetSuite preferred. Strong attention to detail, solid analytical and problem-solving ability, and the judgment to make decisions based on data are important. The role also requires the ability to interpret technical specifications, purchase orders, work orders, invoices, and related terms and conditions, along with strong Microsoft Office and NetSuite skills. Clear written and verbal communication is essential.

Applicants with a background in inventory control, supply chain operations, logistics, purchasing, or ERP-based analysis who are comfortable in a fast-moving, self-critical, and growth-focused environment are likely to be a strong fit.

Responsibilities

  • Track supply chain activity each day, covering the flow from incoming raw materials to completed goods.
  • Work across purchasing, logistics, and supply chain functions to gather and organize operational data.
  • Support accurate manufacturing processing, including inventory transfers, work order release, component issue, completion, and closure.
  • Review and validate BOM quantities, actual versus standard yields, work orders, and inventory transactions within the ERP system.
  • Monitor raw material and inventory balances to help keep stock at healthy levels and avoid replenishment delays.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners to support on-time and cost-efficient material delivery.
  • Check purchase orders, supplier quotations, and invoices for recordkeeping and tracking purposes.
  • Spot and report mismatches in inventory, production, and procurement data to internal stakeholders.

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work from data.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, purchase orders, work orders, invoices, and terms and conditions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and NetSuite.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.

Perks

  • Annual salary range of $70,000 to $90,000.
  • Equity participation.
