About the role

This position supports on-site logistics operations inside the storeroom, with responsibility for receiving, stocking, issuing, inventory control, cycle counting, client interaction, customer support, and entering transactions into computer systems. The main objective is to keep the client supplied with the parts and inventory they need by locating stock, delivering items to the required destination outside the storeroom when requested or as per Kanban, receiving incoming stock, issuing materials, and using inventory systems to track, locate, and verify stock. • Deliver a professional service experience to internal and external customers and escalate any customer issues or concerns to a supervisor without delay.
  • Adhere to internal control standards and standard operating procedures.
  • Open incoming material, check it against the packing slip and purchase order, and record receiving and inventory details in the relevant software systems, including creating new parts when needed.
  • Provide materials to the client on request, including picking, staging, and kitting items as required.
  • Store received goods in the correct location and handle tagging, repacking, delivery, and any special handling tasks.
  • Process returns for unused materials according to SOP requirements.
  • Arrange items for vendor return and prepare parts for repair shipments in accordance with procedures.
  • Carry out cycle counts and notify the Manager and Buyer of any stock discrepancies for correction.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by checking counts and locations, replacing barcodes, and updating relocations in the ERP system.
  • Review on-hand stock levels to identify replenishment needs for every item accurately.
  • Keep the storeroom clean and orderly on an ongoing basis, including sweeping, scraping, and meeting the required housekeeping standards.
  • Assist with company-wide initiatives and support special project work when assigned.
  • Take on any additional duties as required.
