Job description
Role overview
This position is responsible for auditing store operations and ensuring that retail activities are aligned with company rules, internal memorandums, and legal requirements. The role also covers inventory leadership, reporting, and coordination with relevant departments across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out store audits in line with corporate audit procedures and retail operation standards.
- Review finance, personnel, and logistics processes against the audit criteria to confirm they comply with company policies, instructions, memorandums, and legal regulations.
- Check whether store-level procedures and operational instructions are being followed correctly.
- Support inventory counts in stores and central warehouses, including serving as Head of Inventory when required.
- Work with POS systems and stock management software, including understanding how these tools integrate.
- Escalate any unsuitable or non-compliant situations to the manager during audit and inventory activities.
- Prepare and submit audit and inventory reports to the function manager and the relevant departments.
- Review audit and inventory findings when needed and produce analysis-based reports.
Candidate profile
- A university degree in a relevant field is required.
- Strong spoken and written English is mandatory.
- At least 5 years of experience in retail operations is needed.
- Preferably, the candidate should have 2 to 3 years of experience in audit, store operations auditing, or inventory control.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, is expected.
- Familiarity with corporate procedures and regulations in retail operations is required.
- The role demands disciplined work behavior and adherence to company procedures.
- Ability to use technical devices such as handheld terminals and cash registers is necessary.
- Comfort with a multinational and multicultural work environment is important.
- The job involves significant travel, around 80% of working time, including domestic and international travel, and requires flexibility to work variable hours.
Additional information
The role requires no travel restrictions and readiness to work both inside and outside the country as needed.
The position also calls for flexibility in scheduling due to variable working hours.
Experience with POS systems and stock management software integration is a key requirement for success in this role.
