Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and meticulous Interior Designer responsible for managing on-site execution to ensure the seamless implementation of interior works in accordance with approved designs. The role demands cooperation with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to deliver projects timely while adhering to quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly inspect project sites and supervise interior implementation as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Liaise effectively with site supervisors, contractors, carpenters, electricians, and other involved vendors.
- Guarantee accurate execution aligned with design intent, drawings, and bills of quantities.
- Track project progress, maintain quality standards, and meet established timelines.
- Address and resolve issues related to site design and execution promptly and efficiently.
- Prepare and revise drawings as required during the execution phase.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company quality standards.
- Provide regular daily or weekly progress reports to the project manager.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Interior Design or a related discipline.
- Have 1 to 3 years of experience specifically in interior site execution, preferably involving commercial projects.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of technical drawings, materials, and on-site construction processes.
- Be proficient in AutoCAD; familiarity with SketchUp or other 3D modeling tools is advantageous.
- Exhibit effective communication and coordination capabilities.
- Manage multiple assignments efficiently and perform well under deadline pressure.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Prior experience with commercial office interiors or corporate fit-outs.
- Hands-on expertise in site coordination and execution activities.
- Readiness to travel to project locations as necessary.
