Role Overview

This opportunity is for an Interior Designer focused on interior fit-out work in Bengaluru. The position combines design development, technical documentation, site execution support, and client coordination. The company prefers female candidates and immediate joiners with short notice periods.

Work Location

The primary work location is GR Tech Park, Pattandur Agrahara, Whitefield, Bengaluru, Karnataka – 560066. Responsibilities

• Develop design ideas for corporate, residential, retail, and hospitality projects, making sure they suit client expectations as well as practical execution needs.
• Prepare working drawings, interior layouts, shop drawings, and 3D visuals that clearly explain the design and support on-site execution.
• Take part in interior fit-out execution and coordinate closely with site engineers, contractors, and vendors; site involvement is a compulsory part of the role.
• Work with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to keep projects moving smoothly and deliver them on time.
• Recommend suitable materials, finishes, fixtures, and furniture while keeping design intent, budget limits, and schedules in mind.
• Carry out site visits regularly to review conditions, track progress, address design-versus-site issues, and verify compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Travel to multiple project locations as needed, including outstation assignments such as Mumbai and other cities.
• Prepare BOQs, quotations, material specifications, and client-facing presentations with accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Monitor project timelines, design milestones, budgets, and coordination tasks to help ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Stay current on design trends, material developments, vendor innovations, and relevant building codes.
• Coordinate with QS teams, project managers, site engineers, and external consultants to deliver integrated design-to-execution outcomes.
• Support sales-related activities such as client meetings, presentations, proposal inputs, quotation support, onboarding discussions, and scope finalisation.
• Work with management across pre-sales, post-sales, and handover stages to help create a smooth client experience.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design is required.
• Hands-on experience of 3 to 5 years in interior fit-out projects, supported by a strong portfolio.
• Good command of AutoCAD, 3Ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
• A practical, execution-oriented mindset with the ability to connect design decisions with site realities.
• Willingness to handle frequent site visits and interior execution responsibilities, not just studio-based design work.
• Comfortable with outstation travel, including Mumbai and other locations, depending on business needs.
• Must have a personal two-wheeler or vehicle for travel between the office and project sites.
• Must own a laptop or system capable of running the required design software for daily work.
• Immediate joining is preferred, and only candidates with short notice periods should apply.
