About the Role
iute Albania is seeking a driven and detail-oriented professional to join its Risk Department as an Information Security Officer. In this position, you will help manage information security, cybersecurity, and IT risk initiatives in line with widely recognized security and risk management standards.
What You Will Do
- Oversee the organization’s information security program and related cybersecurity controls.
- Support IT risk management activities using accepted industry frameworks and best practices.
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of security governance, policies, and control measures.
- Work with internal stakeholders to strengthen resilience against security and technology risks.
- Track developments in cybersecurity and emerging technologies and evaluate their relevance to the business.
Profile and Requirements
- A university degree in a relevant field is required.
- At least 3 years of professional background in IT and/or information security.
- Solid understanding of IP protocols and network security technologies.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to communicate and influence effectively.
- Excellent English language proficiency.
- Analytical, structured, and outcome-focused approach to work.
- Strong stakeholder management and networking abilities.
- High professionalism and sensitivity to business priorities and organizational needs.
- Strong interest in new technologies, cybersecurity trends, and innovative solutions.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar qualifications are an advantage.
- Knowledge of information security and control frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISO 27002, ISO 27005, DORA, COBiT, COSO, and ITIL is expected.
