Role overview

Apothékary is hiring a creative, highly organized Influencer & Events Coordinator to help strengthen community engagement, expand influencer relationships, and deliver memorable brand experiences. This position connects brand, social, retail, and community efforts to shape how people discover and connect with the brand’s products.

Influencer strategy

  • Oversee influencer activity across celebrity, nano, macro, and mid-tier creators to build awareness and stronger brand affinity.
  • Identify, assess, approach, and negotiate partnerships with influencers and ambassadors.
  • Handle outreach, contract creation, negotiations, and final execution.
  • Keep influencer activity compliant with applicable regulations, including FTC guidance.
  • Track the influencer budget and manage invoice records.
  • Support retail, DTC, and social teams with influencer-related needs.
  • Spot high-performing UGC for reposting and paid media use.
  • Maintain a current content library with core and new-launch assets that can be reused across marketing channels.
  • Coordinate influencers for live and digital events, support IRL activations with the Senior Brand Manager and social team, manage guest lists, and oversee influencer-led event coverage.
  • Monitor competitors and evolving trends in a fast-changing creator landscape.

Event management

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution for community and VIP programming, including influencer dinners, wellness activations, press moments, and retail partner events.
  • Develop event concepts rooted in the brand’s Japanese wellness heritage and modern visual style.
  • Research and book venues, vendors, and partners, and manage logistics from the initial brief through post-event follow-up.
  • Negotiate pricing, deliverables, and timelines with third-party vendors to keep projects on budget and on track.
  • Work with cross-functional teams on messaging, promotional timing, and on-site content capture, while coordinating closely with social to ensure events are documented and shared widely.
  • Create pre-event briefs and run-of-show materials, and act as the main on-site contact during activations.
  • Support the Senior Brand Manager on VIP influencer and media trips, including concept development, partner coordination, guest experience planning, and on-the-ground logistics.

Ambassador program management

  • Manage the affiliate program through Superfiliate, reviewing new applications and partnering with email and social teams to grow sign-ups.
  • Keep co-branded landing pages current with the right copy and messaging.
  • Communicate regularly with the affiliate and influencer community by sharing updates, opportunities, and best practices.
  • Build a program that feels community-driven and encourages organic product posting.
  • Track program performance and analyze metrics to improve engagement and outreach.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports to assess affiliate program effectiveness.

Requirements

  • This is a remote role, but the candidate must live within commuting distance of New York City for onsite event support and quarterly meetings.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in brand marketing and/or experiential marketing, with a demonstrated ability to execute events from concept to completion.
  • Comfort working collaboratively and supporting all aspects of event delivery.
  • Strong creative and analytical thinking, with a problem-solving mindset suited to a fast-paced environment.
  • Genuine interest in brand storytelling.
  • Interest in the health and wellness industry.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to take initiative, prioritize, juggle multiple tasks, and work independently.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or similar tools.
  • Bonus: experience in a high-growth, fast-moving startup.
