Industrial Facilities Cleaner

Role overview

Lignetics is seeking a full-time Industrial Facilities Cleaner for its Kenbridge, Virginia location. This is a day-shift, on-site position scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The hourly pay rate is $18.00.

What the job involves

• Carry out both basic and more intensive cleaning duties within a manufacturing setting.
• Regularly inspect the facility, identify unsafe conditions, and share repair needs or improvement opportunities with the Plant Manager.
• Step in to support the Mill Operator, Packaging Operator, and/or Baler Operator when backup coverage is required.
• Assist with preventive maintenance-related responsibilities as needed.
• Take on additional tasks when assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to stay focused for long stretches and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain standing for at least 7 hours per day.
• Good eye-hand-foot coordination is necessary.
• A pre-employment background check and drug screening are mandatory.
