Individual Giving Manager

Role Overview

Croí Heart & Stroke Charity is seeking an Individual Giving Manager to strengthen and grow its individual fundraising activity. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Galway, with hybrid working that allows the successful candidate to work remotely and attend Croí House in Galway around three times each month.

About Croí

Croí is a multi-award-winning, not-for-profit heart and stroke foundation located in Galway, Ireland. For more than 40 years, the organisation has supported communities across the West of Ireland. Its work has evolved from early fundraising efforts and the establishment of cardiac surgery services to a current focus on improving cardiovascular health, particularly for people at risk of heart disease or stroke and those recovering from these conditions.

What the Role Involves

Reporting to the Director of Fundraising, this role will build on work completed over the last 18 months to increase income from individual donations and regular giving. The programme will be developed through direct mail, digital activity, and in-person engagement. The position offers strong opportunity to expand and strengthen Croí’s individual giving strategy.

The successful candidate will bring non-profit sector experience and a solid track record in creating and delivering individual donor and direct marketing initiatives, including regular giving and stewardship. Experience with face-to-face fundraising and third-party suppliers would be a clear advantage, as a major focus of the role is to lead Croí’s first face-to-face fundraising campaign.

You will manage a range of donor acquisition and retention initiatives and will be responsible for designing and implementing annual plans that meet income, cost, and engagement goals. Strong analytical capability is essential, including the ability to segment donor data and monitor performance effectively.

As part of a small, collaborative fundraising team, you will also contribute to wider fundraising events and campaigns when needed, helping support the success of the wider team.

Salary and Contract

The salary for this role is €45,000 to €50,000, depending on experience. This is a permanent, full-time position and includes a 6-month probationary period.
