Job description

About the role

This opportunity is for seasoned cybersecurity professionals who want to help improve advanced AI systems while working remotely on a flexible schedule. The work centers on using practical security expertise to check whether AI outputs are technically sound and useful in real-world defensive and offensive scenarios.

You will collaborate with AI models on assignments such as reviewing AI-created security material, tackling security-focused technical challenges, and sharing feedback that helps refine how these systems understand threats, vulnerabilities, and response strategies. Some contributors use this as a side engagement alongside another job, while others make it their main focus.

To begin, you’ll create an account and complete a brief assessment, which acts as the screening step. If successful, you’ll receive a confirmation email and paid assignments will be released through the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Assess AI-produced cybersecurity content, including threat analysis, vulnerability reviews, and offensive security methods, to verify whether the information is accurate and realistic.
  • Create and solve technical security problems that help train AI systems.
  • Produce concise technical explanations and write security-related code where needed.
  • Share feedback that influences the development of future AI security models.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of practical experience in cybersecurity, such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or closely related work, including government or military cyber roles.
  • Basic coding ability, including comfort working through and modifying a codebase.
  • Strong English fluency at native or bilingual level, along with solid writing skills.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications are considered an advantage, such as OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, or similar credentials.

Additional information

This is an independent contractor role. Payment is issued through PayPal, and you will never be asked to send any money. The role is open only to applicants located in the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.

Compensation and flexibility

Projects are paid at hourly rates starting from $50 to $100+ per hour, and some assignments may include bonus pay. You choose which projects to take and when to work, using your own computer from your home.

The position is designed for remote, self-managed work with control over your schedule.

Next steps

After signing up, you will complete a short assessment. Passing that assessment unlocks access to paid work on the platform.

Leave it if you'd like a reply — we won't use it for anything else.
