Role overview
ETech Consulting, LLC is hiring an Implementation Consultant to support its Accela implementation and managed services work. In this position, you will partner with city, county, and state government clients to design and deliver solutions on the Accela Civic Platform.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate discovery and analysis workshops to gather business needs across areas such as land management, business licensing, professional licensing, code enforcement, and asset management.
- Translate customer requirements into practical solution designs.
- Build, test, and document the final solution components.
- Deliver training to end users as well as technical teams on completed solutions.
- Support sales-related opportunities when needed.
- Collaborate with the consulting team to strengthen and grow out-of-the-box solution offerings.
- Identify opportunities to expand iPaaS-related services and capabilities.
- Contribute to related technical work such as scripting, data conversion and migration, and report creation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of consulting or implementation work with commercial off-the-shelf software.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience implementing the Accela Civic Platform.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a closely related discipline.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Strong experience delivering presentations.
- Background using both Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript.
- Ability to operate in and around the DC area.
- Willingness to travel.
- Capability to work from a home office.
- Genuine interest in serving government clients.
- Additional advantages: SQL scripting experience, report development with SSRS or Crystal Reports, programming in C#, .NET, Java, or Node.js, and project management or managed services account leadership experience.
