The group is growing rapidly and is focused on creating strong internal systems while building a leading business and services organization in West Africa.

Role Overview

The Group HR & Administration Officer will support the organization’s human resources and administrative operations. Working closely with the Group Operations Manager, this person will handle employee records, help coordinate hiring activities, manage staff welfare and attendance, and keep office administration running smoothly across the group.

This position suits a driven professional who is comfortable in a fast-moving environment and wants to contribute to the development of a scaling organization.

Human Resource Administration

  • Keep employee records, personnel files, and HR systems accurate and up to date.
  • Support recruitment tasks such as posting vacancies, screening candidates, arranging interviews, and handling onboarding.
  • Track attendance, leave, and other employee record updates.
  • Draft employment letters, contracts, confirmation letters, and other HR-related documents.
  • Assist with performance appraisals and staff development activities.
  • Help organize orientation, training, and onboarding sessions for new staff.
  • Support staff welfare and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.

Administration and Office Operations

  • Oversee daily office administration activities.
  • Organize filing systems, company records, and document control processes.
  • Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and other administrative support tasks.
  • Prepare meeting notes and follow up on action items.
  • Monitor office supplies and assist with procurement-related administration.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Provide management with reports, presentations, and administrative documents.

Corporate Support Functions

  • Maintain statutory and administrative records for the company.
  • Support insurance matters, licenses, permits, and other regulatory paperwork.
  • Assist with policy implementation and internal administrative controls.
  • Coordinate internal notices and staff communications.
  • Help maintain organizational procedures and administrative systems.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related discipline. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in HR, administration, or office management is required.

Applicants should have a strong grasp of HR administration and office management practices, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong organization, multitasking, integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other digital workplace tools is expected, and experience using ERP systems will be considered an advantage.
