Job description
Role Overview
This position is for an energetic and adaptable HR Generalist to support a large, busy, non-union manufacturing operation that runs around the clock. The business is established yet still expanding, and the role is intended to be highly visible, approachable, and relied on by employees and leaders alike. Work takes place fully on-site at the manufacturing facility in the greater Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex; remote work is not available.
Work Schedule
The standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some flexibility is expected so the HR team can be available for other shifts when needed. The role is part of a collaborative HR group of four professionals.
Key Contribution
In this role, you will help shape a positive employee experience by delivering hands-on HR support, building strong partnerships with leaders, and helping maintain a healthy, high-performing workplace.
Core Duties
- Deliver employee-focused HR support with a service-oriented approach.
- Stay accessible and responsive to employee questions and concerns.
- Work with leaders on engagement, performance, and culture-related initiatives.
- Support employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and general HR practices.
- Help ensure policies and day-to-day processes reinforce a productive and positive work environment.
Required Background
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- At least 2 years of experience as an HR Generalist in a fast-moving manufacturing or distribution setting.
- Broad working knowledge of core human resources functions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with a sincere interest in helping employees succeed.
- Full professional fluency in English and Spanish, including speaking, reading, and writing.
- A practical, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on ongoing improvement.
- Availability to adjust working hours as needed to connect with employees on other shifts.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual pay ranges from $80,000 to $110,000, based on experience.
