Job description

Role Overview

A hotel HR team is looking for a motivated and guest-oriented Human Resources Clerk to support employee administration and day-to-day HR documentation. This position focuses on handling forms, letters, applications, renewals, and record management while helping ensure employee-related processes are completed accurately and on time.

Key Duties

  • Coordinate with the Government Relations Officer or Government Relations Coordinator to prepare and type the required paperwork for visas, permits, registrations, and renewals.
  • Track expiry dates for employee documents and make sure renewals are submitted before deadlines.
  • Manage the allocation and control of employee lockers and keep records for monthly reporting.
  • Provide copies of documents to employees whenever needed.
  • Enter employee information and scan supporting documents into the CID system, then keep records updated regularly.
  • Maintain filing systems, databases, business contact records, personal employee files, and follow up on pending items as needed.

Education, Experience, and Skills

The preferred candidate holds a degree in a relevant field and has prior exposure to a similar role. Strong computer skills are important, including familiarity with computerized payroll systems, along with good spoken and written English.

Beyond technical ability, the role calls for someone who is helpful, self-driven, and positive in approach. The person should be able to think creatively, communicate well, and interact confidently with employees at all levels. A fair, welcoming, and approachable manner is essential, along with strengths in responsibility, teamwork, adaptability, customer focus, and working effectively with different people.
