Job description

Role Overview

Wee Guan Construction is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support a wide range of HR operations in a fully remote setup based in Singapore. The role covers recruitment, employee administration, payroll support, foreign worker administration, compliance, and general HR coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete hiring workflow, from job advertising and candidate screening to interviews, onboarding, and exit interviews.
  • Maintain HR platforms and employee files while keeping records accurate and aligned with statutory requirements.
  • Support payroll processing, attendance tracking, and leave administration in a timely and precise manner.
  • Handle foreign worker-related matters, including WP, SP, EP, visas, insurance, bonds, accommodation, home leave, and repatriation, in line with MOM regulations.
  • Draft and issue employment-related documents such as employment contracts, appointment letters, promotion letters, transfer letters, disciplinary notices, and termination letters.
  • Administer company insurance, licences, and medical or dental insurance claims.
  • Address employee relations concerns, including grievances, counselling sessions, and disciplinary actions.
  • Arrange training sessions, induction programmes, and legally required training activities.
  • Work with government bodies such as MOM, IRAS, and BCA on matters including IR8A submissions and surveys.
  • Coordinate employee welfare initiatives and recreational activities.
  • Carry out additional HR and administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Business, Human Resource Management, or a related discipline.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Self-driven, positive, proactive, and able to work well with others.
