About the role

Humour Me is looking for a thoughtful, ambitious people and culture leader to join its business team in New Delhi, Indiana, United States. The position focuses on building a stronger talent bench across departments, identifying and attracting exceptional people, handling early-stage interviews, delivering training, and acting as a coach for business behaviour and performance.

What you’ll do

  • Help raise the overall quality of talent across the agency by spotting strong potential and bringing in high performers.
  • Source candidates for multiple departments and play a central role in recruitment and talent discovery.
  • Conduct first-round interviews, run assessments, and support the hiring process with careful background verification.
  • Build and maintain relationships with top graduate schools, universities, and high-quality talent pools.
  • Create tailored induction sessions and training programs for different teams.
  • Act as a business and leadership coach, helping team members stay motivated and aligned with performance goals.
  • Write compelling job descriptions and use modern digital hiring tools effectively.
  • Network with talent from competitor agencies and other relevant professional circles.
  • Support team leaders with OKR tracking, monthly reviews, and quarterly performance check-ins.
  • Protect and reinforce the agency’s culture, values, and operating principles.
  • Design appraisal processes that clearly map growth paths for employees.
  • Anticipate future hiring gaps and create recruitment plans before shortages occur.
  • Set up a knowledge management framework so training, coaching, and key internal information can be shared and safeguarded.

What we’re looking for

  • At least 8 years of experience in HR, talent development, business coaching, or leadership coaching, ideally in a senior role covering all areas of a creative agency.
  • Hands-on experience building relationships across creative and business talent networks.
  • A demonstrated ability to deliver measurable business outcomes while acting as an HR business partner.
  • Strong familiarity with digital recruitment tools and talent sourcing methods.
  • Experience creating high-density, high-performing teams in agency environments.
  • Proven capability in designing induction systems and knowledge-sharing processes.
  • Education or training in organizational psychology, business psychology, and/or business coaching.

Additional expectations

This role is less about traditional payroll or grievance handling and more about acting as a strategic coach for people performance, culture, and growth. The ideal person should be deeply committed to improving standards, protecting culture, and helping the agency win through stronger talent.
