Role overview
This is a part-time HR support opportunity for a client operating in the staffing and recruiting space. The position is fully remote, so you can work from any location. The work centers on helping manage day-to-day people operations, keeping HR information accurate, and supporting compliance with employment rules.
Key responsibilities
- Handle employee queries related to benefits, workplace policies, and internal procedures.
- Keep personnel records complete, current, and confidential, including files and supporting documents.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires and the exit process for departing team members.
- Track adherence to applicable federal, state, and local labor requirements.
- Work with managers to resolve workplace concerns and identify opportunities to improve HR processes.
Required background and skills
- Previous experience in human resources or a related support function is required.
- Good understanding of HR policies and employment legislation is essential.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms or HR databases is an advantage.
- Strong planning, organization, and time management abilities are needed.
- You must be able to manage sensitive employee information with care and discretion.
Compensation
The payout for this role is $10 to $36 per hour.
