HR Manager

Overview

Riverview Healthcare Center is looking for an experienced HR Manager to support employee records management, file auditing, personnel compliance, new hire orientation, and the coordination of a clear clinical work schedule for the community. This is a hands-on, on-site role, and candidates must have prior HR experience in Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care settings to be considered.

Key Duties

• Keep both active and terminated employee files, along with employee health records, up to date and organized.
• Handle recruitment tasks, including use of the recruiting system, candidate interviews, and onboarding of new hires.
• Complete background checks promptly and inform hiring managers right away if any adverse findings arise.
• Lead new hire orientation and make sure all onboarding steps are finished in line with state and federal LTC/SNF rules and procedures.
• Work closely with the VSO payroll team and the HR department.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A high school diploma or an equivalent credential is required.
• Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care environment is mandatory.
• Clinical scheduling experience, including scheduling nurses and CNAs, is preferred.
